Sofía Petro, daughter of the new president, Gustavo Petro, was one of the personalities who received the most looks and applause among the thousands of attendees at the Plaza de Bolívar, during the investiture of the Head of State.

But beyond the outfit, the designer himself revealed the messages that Sofía wanted to communicate through her suit. On each of the sleeves of the jacket she wore a phrase: ‘Climate justice’ and ‘Social justice’.

The jacket also has a rural scene embroidered on it, in which a tree, a peasant woman, a donkey and a fence stand out.

Guarnizo also praised the jacket of another protagonist of the ceremony: Maria José Pizarro, who was in charge of imposing the presidential sash on the new president.
