Last week, the Want You Bike bicycle shop, located on Quai des Vicinaux, was hit by an impressive theft. The thieves had gone through the roof to steal around thirty bicycles. Twenty of them were found.

The authors had indeed cut out part of the roof in three different places. They then took advantage of these holes to pass a rope system through them to catch the bikes located several meters below in the store and in the workshop, a bit like fishing.

Good news has been confirmed to us in this case. Indeed, a few days ago, some of the stolen bicycles have been recovered.

“These bikes were found in a plant depot in the town of Tournai near Froyennes”, tells us Xavier Dupont, operational director of Want You Bike.
