South Africa, Morocco, Ivory Coast… Where do the ultra-rich Africans live? – Young Africa

Some 138,000 millionaires, 328 multi-millionaires and 23 billionaires. This is the number of (very) wealthy people in December 2022 Africa, according to the latest report from the consulting firm Henley & Partners, produced in partnership with New World Wealth.

The concentration of wealth varies widely and the most ultra-rich are found in South Africa (37,903), Egypt (16,162) and Nigeria (9,831). Together with Kenya (7,715) and Morocco (5,832), these five countries alone accounted for 56% of millionaires and more than 90% of billionaires of continent.
