Specifications, prices and more – Yalla Match

We are only two days away from revealing Galaxy Z Flip 4 else Galaxy Z Fold 4 from Samsung. Naturally, the Internet does its job and spoils any potential surprises, so we figured it’s also possible for us to join in and share everything we’ve discovered on the web so far. We’ve reported the specs, as well as all the photos you could hope for. Let’s do it.

Galaxy Z Flip 4

The Galaxy Z Flip is Samsung’s most popular foldable line to date, It accounts for 70% of its foldable sales. For 2022, Samsung is looking at a relatively incremental upgrade of the device, according to the leaks we’ve seen so far. For starters, the border around the 6.7-inch screen has been trimmed, along with a retooled hinge that should make the device more compact. Dynamic AMOLED display specifications have been reported with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The front cover screen is said to be the same 1.9 inches with the same 512 x 260 resolution as the Z Flip 3.

Other specs include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, dual rear cameras (2 x 12MP), 10MP front camera, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and impedance rating IPX8 water, 3700mAh battery (raised by 400mAh), 25W charging, 15W wireless charging, Android 12.

Software-wise, while it will launch with Android 12, it should be among the first Samsung devices to receive the upgrade to Android 13 later this year. This is always a bonus for new Samsung buyers.

Prices in the US are expected to start at $999.

Galaxy Z Fold 4

Much like the Z Flip 4, the Z Fold 4 appears to be more of an incremental upgrade from last year’s model, but Samsung is still said to include hinge improvements and a reduced frame size on the larger foldable. The screen size is 7.6 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is noticeable that although it is the same size diagonally, the screen is slightly less wide and slightly taller. The resolution is said to be 2176 x 1812.

Z Fold 4 specs include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a triple rear camera setup (50MP main + 12MP ultra-wide + 10MP telephoto), 10MP selfie camera under the display Side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual SIM, IPX8 rating, S Pen support (just like last year), 4,400mAh battery (same as the Z Fold 3), Android 12.

Like the Z Flip 4, expect the Galaxy Z Fold 4 to receive Android 13 ahead of many other Samsung devices. This is a shot of the device closed, showing a more compact appearance thanks to the improved hinge design.

The price of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to start at $1,799.
