They finished the Hitman 3 level set in Dubai in this record time, and even think they can do it faster.
Barely released on PC and next-gen consoles, Hitman 3 already has speed records on some of its levels. The game developed by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix, available in particular on PS5 and Xbox Series, it seems already has no secrets for some. Hitman games, known for their elaborate level design, offer many options for players to achieve their goal. For the “On top of the world” level, which takes place in Dubai, it seems that the direct approach works quite well.
As those familiar with Agent 47 know, the Hitmans missions can be accomplished in a number of ways. The series is known for offering a very refined level design, in order to give players as much choice as possible.. Here, the two speedrunners decided to take a straightforward approach in order to complete the contract. The idea is to kill both targets as they appear. A simple approach, but not easy to achieve.
Hitman 3 speedrun: 9 seconds to complete Dubai, 17 seconds to rank “Silent Assassin”
Despite this already impressive time, the two authors of this record are still trying to optimize the maneuver. The speedrun.com site, which lists speed records on games, has already officially validated the record. A good performance, which however does not allow the two gamers to obtain the “Silent Assassin” rank. For the latter, the record is 17 seconds, and was produced by Frote7 last week. You can check out his performance in the video below.
Hitman 3 has just been released on PC and consoles, to the delight of fans. The Hitman series is one of the most iconic when it comes to stealth games. The game was very well received, confirming the good dynamics established by IO Interactive on the last episodes. The series was a hit in the 2000s, before experiencing a slightly more complicated period thereafter. Since the reboot of the series in 2016Hitman seems to be enjoying a resurgence of interest, much to the delight of Agent 47 fans.
