Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be available in March 2023

Electronic Arts has unveiled a little more detail about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. And, surprise, it will be available soon!

Last May, Electronic Arts formalized Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorFollowing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order — little surprise released in 2019. The American publisher had remained rather vague on the developments to be expected. He preferred to wait for the ceremony of The Game Awards 2022 to unpack everything. Cal Kestis’ second adventure will be available on March 17, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC.

Yes, yes, you read correctly: we will be able to play a big Star Wars video game in the first quarter of next year. Electronic Arts does not want to make fans wait too long, knowing that the calendar is perfect for its bank account (the financial year ends on March 31).

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Sequel Coming Soon

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will obviously rely on the very solid foundations of its predecessor. We’re still talking about an action/adventure game, with a slight penchant for storytelling. The story will always center on Cal Kestis, a Jedi who must flee the Empire after escaping Order 66 (Jedi massacre ordered by the Emperor). The power of current platforms should allow Respawn Entertainment to go even further in loyalty. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was already recognized for its graphics.

On the gameplay side, the room for maneuver is at the level of the fights, which would benefit from being refined. Cal Kestis is said to be better at mastering the force and his lightsaber, which foreshadows deeper and, perhaps, more technical clashes. In any case, it would be a great development for Star Wars Jedi: Survivorwhich should not deviate too far from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in terms of sensations offered. The gameplay trailer shows new moves to master.

Will Cal Kestis rub shoulders with Darth Vader in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor ? Fans dream of it, even if we already know the outcome: the powerful Sith lord could not be beaten in terms of the timeline. But just for the video game trip, we would like to attend the scene. We remember that we escape Darth Vader at the end of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
