Eugénie Amacher loves nature and natural products. This is how she developed Fructibon.

Eugenie Amacher combines two things: she is the daughter of arborists (in the Montauban region) and she is an agri-food engineer. After her studies in food and health and her master’s degree, she had the project to promote fruits that do not pass the quality standards to be sold as table fruits. But an internship in Switzerland made her meet the one who became her husband and it is therefore here, in Versoix, that she created her start-up, Fructibon.
“The idea was to develop other valuation channels for these fruits by creating innovative products. Of course, we make juices, jams, syrups or distillations from them, but the producer does not always get the right price according to the market of supply and demand. ” A year when the apricot trees are full or a year like this with frost on the flowers, the price will change, obviously.
