[에너지데일리 최일관 기자] The National Agency for Technology and Standards (Director Jin Jong-wook, hereinafter referred to as the National Standards Institute) announced on the 30th that it had launched the ‘Test Certification Big Data Platform Portal Service’, which allows companies and consumers to view test and certification data at a glance.

The ‘test certification big data platform business (‘21.4.~’24.12)’ is a business that builds a platform by collecting test and certification data distributed by test institutes in one place and provides services so that companies or consumers can use them efficiently. After a pilot operation between the two countries, the ‘test certification service in my hand (VaroTIC®)’ and ‘certification information QR service (CertiShot®)’ will be officially launched. The testing institutes are Korea Apparel Testing & Research Institute (hosted by), Korea Testing & Research Institute, Korea Testing & Research Institute for Chemical Convergence, Korea Construction Living Environment Testing & Research Institute, Korea Machinery & Electronics Testing & Research Institute, FITI Testing & Research Institute, KOTITI Testing & Research Institute, etc.

‘Test certification service in my hand (VaroTIC®)’ is an enterprise-type My Data service that integrates and manages the data of each test institute in one place and allows companies to extract, process, and analyze their product test data by using the functions provided by the platform. This service provides support for product development.

The ‘Certification Information QR Service (CertiShot®)’ is a service that allows consumers to scan a QR code with a mobile device to check not only product authentication information, but also detailed product information and user manuals at once.

Jin Jong-wook, head of the National Institute of Technology and Standards, said, “Starting with this service, we will gradually expand the number of test institutes participating in the platform, and “We will improve to provide valuable services from the perspective of consumers and companies, such as upgrading to a data distribution platform by 2024.” .
