Only a few hours ago, we announced the arrival of the Juggernaut Edition of State of Decay 2. Well rejoice, since in addition to being free for all owners of the game, it will offer a real overhaul , whether visual, audio, or even in terms of game mechanics.
The Next March 13, players will be able to try to survive in zombie territory thanks to the arrival of State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition. This new edition simply offers the game a major update. Indeed, the developers of Undead Labs have just declared that this new version of the game is like a remaster. The title will host many new features, starting with an update of the graphic part (better lighting and foliage optimization) and audio of the game.
State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition will also offer changes to improve the quality of life in the game. The game tutorial is therefore modified to make the game mechanics clearer and more accessible. Undead Labs declared even that players did not understand that the game was a sandbox game because of the linear tutorial.
One of the biggest issues we have had to explain to State of Decay 2 players is that it was not a linear campaign. The players had a lot of trouble understanding the scope of the sandbox and how they should play with it. Henry Bachman, Product Manager at Undead Labs
In addition to offering a mechanical overhaul, this update adds a new class of weapons, new events, a new forest map and even weather effects such as fog. Another new feature is State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition, which offers user interface improvements. For example, the morale of the community will now be easily visible thanks to the arrival of a filth system. The dirtier a character in your community, the more depressed they are. Attention, the latter will drop at the same time, the general morale of the base.
To finish with the good news, State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition will be available on Steam and will offer all paid and free DLC released to date. Everything will be free for owners of a copy of the original game.
