Strong tremor shook eight departments early this Monday | BLU mornings

An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 with an epicenter in Lejanías (Meta) It shook eight departments of the country at dawn on Monday, November 29.

According to the Colombian Geological Survey, the earthquake had a shallow depth of 30 kilometers and was registered at 2:53 in the morning.

Due to the earthquake, the Sumapaz tunnel (Cundinamarca), was provisionally closed to establish if it had damage to its structure.

According to reports obtained by the Colombian Geological Survey, the earthquake was felt in cities such as Bogotá, Ibagué, Florencia, Villavicencio, Armenia, Florencia, Neiva, Cali, Palmira, Jamundí and Santander De Quilichao, among others.

Provisionally, there is no known report of deaths, injuries or material losses. Emergency care agencies make a sweep in the areas where the earthquake was felt.
