A veil of sadness and emotion has seized me since the announcement of the death of our father: His Majesty Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya, Sultan King of the Bamouns. Our country is losing with the disappearance of the monarch Bamoun, a visionary King and close to his people, a library, and a buffer personality for our living together.
My grief is also personal. I have indeed had the great privilege of drinking from the source of the immense wisdom of this man of peace. I kept the image of a loving father, informed of a great connoisseur of the entire African sports ecosystem in general and Cameroonian in particular.
The disappearance of Patriarch Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya is a huge loss for our sports movement, but also for Cameroon as a whole in its diversity. I join my voice, to that of the Cameroonian people, who mourns one of their referent personalities. And, I pray the Eternal, our God, in his great magnanimity, to welcome our father, His Majesty the Sultan
Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya.
