FC Zurich currently favors an internal solution for the succession of Franco Foda, who was sacked two days ago. The reigning Swiss champion has appointed U21 coach Genesio Colatrella as head coach on an interim basis.
Former LNA player Genesio Colatrella (49) has been taking care of Zurich hopes since the 2021/22 season, after being in charge of FC Lucerne’s succession for six years. He will lead FCZ for the first time in the Super League on October 1 in a derby against Grasshopper.
