Two alleged hitmen who minutes before had murdered a man in Venustiano Carranza’s mayor’s office were detained by police officers from the Secretariat of Citizen Security.
They are Christopher ‘N’ and Luis ‘N’, who allegedly shot a man to death in the Adolfo López Mateos neighborhood.
The events occurred on the street of Javier Barros Sierra when the uniformed men noticed that two individuals who were traveling on a motorcycle made detonations, injured one person and later fled.

This triggered a manhunt that ended on Eduardo Busdamente street where the alleged hit men were caught, however one of them fired at the policemen, who repelled the attack.

After controlling the situation and verifying that no injuries were registered, both subjects were detained. After conducting a security check, they found a firearm and eight useful cartridges.

Meanwhile, paramedics from the Medical Emergency and Rescue Squad (ERUM) reviewed and corroborated the death of a man from a gunshot wound to the occiput.
The alleged 18 and 39-year-old hit men were placed at the disposal of the agent of the Public Ministry who will determine their legal situation.
It is worth mentioning that, according to the information obtained, the 39-year-old man has been admitted to the Penitentiary System for the crime of robbery with attempted homicide.
