The SharePlay sharing function is getting stronger with iOS 16. In FaceTime, all SharePlay-compatible apps are listed in a drawer for easy discovery and use. A SharePlay button is also added in Messages to type messages while sharing the viewing of content. We also avoid having to launch FaceTime beforehand to activate these SharePlay shares.
