TAIPEI (Archyde.com) – Taiwan’s defense ministry said on Thursday that Chinese military aircraft and ships conducted a mock attack on Taiwan’s main island in the morning. China has entered its third day of military exercises near Taiwan.

According to the Ministry of National Defense, several Chinese military aircraft were confirmed in the Taiwan Strait. Some have crossed the median line. The Taiwanese military has issued a warning, dispatched air force reconnaissance units and ships, and deployed missile defense systems on the ground.

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense earlier announced that it had fired flares to warn seven drones that flew over Kinmen late on the 5th. Similar measures were taken when an unknown aircraft flew over the Matsu Islands.
