He must be Stafford. It’s precisely that kind of games and that kind of performance that caused the Rams to give up so much draft capital in the offseason to get their guy. And you can see why they did it – even though he started out a little rusty, Stafford was sensational from LA’s first score. Premier League MVP?
Stafford’s relationship with Deal was outstanding in the first two weeks of the season, and it was once again on display here as they tied for two touchdowns on nine catches and 96 yards. Although it was Stafford’s 75-yard strike for Jackson it was the biggest “Wow” game in the game!
In defense, Aaron Donald got his first career sack against Brady and added three tackles and a forced fumble. Brady, himself, has passed 80,000 career passing yards in the contest and now has the chance to beat Drew Brees’ record of 80,358 next week.
Biggest: Brady’s Return to New England! The Buccaneers (2-1) travel to Foxborough in Week 4 to face the Patriots (1-2). As for the Rams (3-0), they have a crucial clash between the NFC West divisions and the equally undefeated Arizona Cardinals (3-0) at SoFi Stadium.
