TE Converts Landline Phones to Prepaid System for Better Customer Control and Savings

TE announced the conversion of clients landline phone landline, to the prepaid system, through a message received by the customer telling him to switch to the new system, and explaining how to deal with it.

A company official told Youm7 that the conversion of landline customers to the prepaid system instead of the traditional bill is compulsory and not optional, provided that the landline phone is charged in advance every three months.

The process of converting the 11 million landline customers to the prepaid system is gradually taking place in preparation for generalizing the experiment on all landlines, and 2 million customers have been converted to the prepaid system.

Telecom Egypt explained that the decision to convert the landline phone to the prepaid system came to give the customer more control over his consumption, instead of the open line and the traditional quarterly bill, the value of which may be a surprise to the customer. Landlines The new system speeds up the steps of implementing the integrated bill, which the customer can use to unify his spending on all telecom services, including mobile, landline, and high-speed internet, in one integrated bill.
