The disruption of SBB ticket sales was resolved on Thursday around 3:15 p.m. From 10 a.m., the purchase of tickets was severely limited on all channels: online applications, vending machines and even staffed counters at stations were affected.
During the outage, tickets might be purchased at some of the ticket machines or, with certain restrictions, from train staff, a SBB spokesperson said. The cause of the technical failure is still unknown.

During this, train staff were informed and passenger traffic was not disrupted. On the SBB website, advice has been given to travelers to deal with the disruption.
