On June 30, the father of YouTuber Technoblade announced the death of his son, Alexander, from cancer. The 23-year-old American was known for his videos around the game Minecraft, broadcast on his Youtube channel, accumulating to date more than a billion views.
“If you’re watching this video, I’m dead.” Technoblade, the famous youtuber specializing in Minecraft games, has made video farewell. The one who accumulated more than 13 million subscribers died, Thursday, June 30, of generalized cancer at the age of 23.
Long farewell letter read by his father
The disappearance of the young man was announced by his family, through his Youtube channel, in a message entitled “so long nerds” (“Farewell geeks”), read by his father, in which he bids farewell to his constituted community of several million subscribers, reports France Inter.
In this video, the one who has always kept his anonymity introduces himself as “Alex” and reveals his face for the first time. He thanks the support of his community.
On Saturday, July 2, the video had nearly 40 million views 24 hours after it was posted.
Right arm cancer diagnosed in 2021
Technoblade, had cancer in his right arm, where a sarcoma was diagnosed in 2021. “They did some scans and told me that the reason my arm hurts is that i have cancer. It really couldn’t be worse”explained the young man last August on his YouTube channel, indicates TF1.
