Tecno has now admitted that some holster makers beat him to the punch by revealing that the Phantom V Flip is actually a real device and will be revealed soon. It is not yet absolutely certain that the clamshell will feature a flexible main screen, although its new launch poster strongly suggests that this is indeed the case.
Therefore, the V Flip could join potential rivals with the same name, like those of Vivo, Samsung et OPPO soon on the market pliable in the foldable smartphone market. However, unlike those Flips, Tecno’s version is said to feature a state-of-the-art main display sans the advantage of a processor quality.
It would be a first of its kind (if it were not the first Motorola Razr experimental specimens) and could also make it much more accessible to Tecno fans – even more so than the new and improved Razr 40improved. But again, as it is now planned to launch in Singapore it may not be a global deviceit may not be a global device.
Either way, the Phantom V Flip is expected to launch alongside the MegaBook T1 (2023) in the Merlion area on September 22, 2023.
