Teddy, a Chow-Chow, bit the child to death, parents arrested

In Doncaster, England, a dog bit a toddler just 12 days old. The infant unfortunately did not survive.

The animal is a crossbreed Chow-Chow named Teddy and “attacked the baby after jumping into its play area in the garden.”

The parents immediately removed the child’s dog and then called for help. Once at the hospital, the doctors did everything to save the child, to no avail.

The parents were arrested on suspicion of reckless homicide. They were then released on bail pending further investigation.

This is the third tragedy this year for the 27-year-old mother who has already lost her former partner and father in the same house.
