Teen died while trying to take a selfie in Medellín

It was fatal for a 15-year-old girl in Medellín to try to have a selfie.

The teenager climbed onto a 5.41-meter high retaining wall, from where she slipped and fell onto the road, being run over by a bus-type public transport vehicle.

The events occurred on August 17 at 6:54 in the afternoon on Carrera 32, between 102A and 102B streets in the Santo Domingo Savio neighborhood, Northeast of Medellín.

According to the authorities’ report, the young woman, identified as Ana María Aguirre Chavarría, was transferred to the Hospital San Vicente Foundation (Polyclinic), where he died last Thursday.
