A thief broke into an apartment complex last month in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, southeast ChinaSeveral valuables were stolen from one of the apartments, according to a report by the security company.

The police quickly came to the conclusion that the bloodstains belonged to the suspect, as the drug had been freshly painted, and concluded that the drops of blood had been drunk by the two mosquitoes.

The police then took blood samples from the wall, and later sent them for a DNA test to compare against their records.

The DNA sample matched perfectly with a known criminal, surnamed Chai, who was arrested two weeks later.

After being questioned, Chai confessed to the robbery and four other robberies.
