The 12-day-old boy, who may have been shaken by his father in Sherbrooke, is still in serious condition in intensive care at Fleurimont Hospital (CHUS). Medical authorities fear for his life.

Her 28-year-old father was charged with aggravated assault yesterday. Although he has no criminal record, the Crown opposes his release.
According to what it was possible to learn in this case hit by a publication ban in order to protect the identity of the alleged little victim and her relatives, the report was made in the evening of Wednesday by the multidisciplinary team from the CIUSSS de l’Estrie-CHUS and the Department of Youth Protection.
