Media reports sparked a surprise after confirming the separation of Brazilian football star Adriano from his wife because of the 2022 World Cup, which is currently being held in Qatar and will continue until December 18.
And the Brazilian “extra.globo” website confirmed that Adriano, the former Brazilian star, separated from his wife, Michaela Mesquita, a hairdresser, after only 24 days of their marriage.
The site added that Adriano and Michaela Mesquita were planning to hold a wedding ceremony this weekend, but a disagreement occurred between them, which led to the duo stopping following each other on social media, and Mesquita deleted all previous photos of her with Adriano.
And the Brazilian website “extra.globo” stated that the reason for the dispute is due to Adriano going to visit his friends in the Brazilian city of “Rio” to watch the Brazil national team match against Switzerland in the 2022 World Cup.
And the site continued: Adriano returned home two days later, and clashed with Mesquita about his whereabouts, and “Michaela” did not accept her husband’s apology.
It is worth noting that Adriano, 40, previously led Brazil to crown the Copa America title in 2004, and won the Golden Boot as the tournament’s top scorer with 7 goals. He also won the 2005 Confederations Cup, and won the Golden Boot award as the best scorer in the tournament with 5 goals.
