Kowloon Nights investment fund announces the creation of Kepler Interactive, the world’s first major publisher owned and operated by independent developers.
Kepler Interactive offers a unique model within the video game industry in which independent studios become co-owners, which allows them to make strategic decisions, including the introduction of new members into the collective, while being directly rewarded for the financial success of the editor. This creates an ideal environment for developers to thrive by combining the benefits of full creative independence with resources and operational support. It unifies the strength of multiple studios with a world-class operations, finance and publishing hub, providing a range of services from marketing to business partnerships, and shared technology, all designed to support the visions of the studios.
