The Ministry of Interior succeeded in arresting a person for impersonating a doctor and creating an account on the “Facebook” website to announce his illegal activity, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior agencies to combat crime in all its forms, especially crimes of impersonation.
Information and investigations by the security services in the specialized police sector confirmed that (a person with “criminal information” – residing in Beni Suef Governorate) impersonated a “human doctor” and created an account on the social networking site “Facebook” to announce his ability to perform surgeries in exchange for sums of money.
After legalizing the procedures, he was targeted and could be arrested when he was in Alexandria, in possession of (a mobile phone – a sum of money – a number of medical supplies used in his criminal activity). In confronting him, he admitted that he had impersonated a human doctor, and that he had created an account on the social networking site “Facebook”. And promoting his ability to perform surgeries in return for sums of money, contrary to the truth, so legal measures were taken and the accused was imprisoned.
