The Atlanta Braves have one of the best squads in the Major Leagues and are serious candidates to win the 2023 World Series. One of the main reasons is Ronald Acuña Jr., who this afternoon joined the select group of players who have hit 40 home runs and have stolen 40 bases in one season.

The Venezuelan baseball player came into the game against the Washington Nationals with 68 hits and 39 home runs, so he only needed one more home run to join a select group of players made up of José Canseco, Barry Bonds, Alex Rodríguez and Alfonso Soriano.

Neither slow nor lazy, ‘The Abuser’ hit his 40th full-round bat in his first at-bat against the Nats. The Braves outfielder found Patrick Corbin’s streamer and sent it 379 feet from the plate towards left field of the Nationals Park.
