The Bank of Spain has announced that it will return the attention to the public in its headquarters, suspended due to the decree of the state of alarm to combat the extension of Covid-19. The regulator added that the reopening will be done “gradually” as the cities where it has offices have reached phase 2 on the way to the “new normal”.
This attendance service will be carried out with a prior appointment system, “except in the cases of presentation of documents in the Registry and operations of current account holders at the Bank of Spain”.
The entity justifies the appointment system in the need to avoid possible health risks and, in this way, comply with the recommendations of the health authorities such as capacity control or the minimum required physical distance. The prior appointment system can be made by phone to the following numbers. In any case, the Bank of Spain will continue to provide services in its Virtual Office and also by phone. .
