The beginning of a new era .. The national anthem of King Charles III was played for the first time

After the royal family, led by King Charles III and world leaders, stood for two minutes of silence as part of the memorial service for Queen Elizabeth II, the national anthem was played in honor of King Charles for the first time in preparation for the start of his reign.

The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II began at Westminster Abbey in London, in the presence of King Charles III, members of the royal family and a number of official international delegations.

The funeral ceremony also began with a speech by the Reverend “Westminster” David Howell, during which he praised the late queen’s dedication to serving her people, her love for her family, and her commitment to the causes she cherished, pointing out that this church witnessed the marriage and coronation of the late queen.
