Important change to come in the upper spheres of Lidl. On May 1, the current CEO of the group in Belgium, Boudewijn van den Brand, will give up his place to Matus Gala at the head of Lidl Belgium.
In eight years, Boudewijn van den Brand breathed new life into Belgian stores. As Gondola magazine reports, he was behind the improvement of the range of fresh products, the opening of new stores and the concept of “Lidl of the future”.
The man who will replace him is no stranger to the group since he has been CEO of Lidl Slovakia since 2016.
