The cancer incidence rate in Belgium is one of the highest in Europe: “We could reduce cancers there by 40%”

Although cancers are very well treated in Belgium, it remains one of the countries in Europe where the incidence rate is the highest.

The Cancer Foundation invited its donors to meet the researchers whose projects it funds on March 22 at “The Egg” in Brussels as part of the “Beating Cancer Together” event. After a plenary session focused on immunotherapy and the presentation of “Scientific Grants”, the guests of the event discovered the research village. The opportunity to take stock of the progress of research and treatments against the disease with the director general of the organization, Benoit Koerperich.
