The Casablanca stock exchange starts in decline this Wednesday

The Casablanca Stock Exchange was down slightly on Wednesday in the first exchanges, its two main indices, Masi and Madex, losing 0.08% each.

The Masi, a global index made up of all equities-type securities, fell to 10,440.78 points and the Madex, a compact index made up of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, amounted to 8,491.33 points.

Regarding international indices, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 index fell by 0.20% to 9,408.21 points, while the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid was posted at 9,015.60 points.

The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10”, meanwhile, yielded 0.21% to 801.67 points.

At individual values, Réalisations Mécaniques dropped 1.98%, followed by Ciments du Maroc and Jet Contractors, which dropped 1.81% and 1.08% respectively.

In contrast, Colorado progressed by 3.97%, the strongest rise of Masi at the start of the session, ahead of Delattre Levivier Maroc and Managem who gained 3.96% and 3.39% respectively.

On Tuesday, the Casablanca Stock Exchange finished close to equilibrium, with the Masi and Madex taking 0.04% and 0.05% respectively.
