The president of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, the Minister of the Presidency and Finance, Javier Celdrán, and the territorial director of CaixaBank in Murcia and Eastern Andalusia, Juan Ignacio Zafra, formalized this morning a set of credit operations that will improve the conditions of some of the loans that the Community has subscribed with the State.
Specifically, in this process of renegotiation of public debt, the government of the Region of Murcia specified credit operations with CaixaBank amounting to 550 million euros at zero interest rate, which will mean a savings of 7.5 million euros, since the conditions of the loans previously subscribed through the State financing mechanisms are improved.
Both the president López Miras and the counselor Celdrán expressed their satisfaction with the signing of these operations. Javier Celdrán explained that «they represent a substantial advance for the Community, since very important savings are achieved thanks to the improvement in the costs of previous loans and shows the effort being made by the institutions to respond to the harshness of this crisis”.
For his part, the territorial director of CaixaBank in Murcia and Eastern Andalusia, Juan Ignacio Zafra, highlighted CaixaBank’s enormous commitment to the Community “which implies collaboration with companies, the self-employed, families and, of course, public institutions with the aim of contributing to the economic recovery of our land in such complex moments.
