His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, affirmed that the rational leadership of the country, headed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, has given youth an important national role in promoting the comprehensive development process, believing in the importance of supporting National competencies, and enabling them to participate in drawing up future plans for the country, in a way that contributes to strengthening the status of the state in various fields.
His Highness said – in a speech on the occasion of the International Youth Day, which falls on August 12 of each year – that investing in young people and activating their role in the process of development and construction for the next fifty years comes among the priorities of the rational leadership of the country, by strengthening their spirit of initiative, developing their creative and innovative skills, and empowering them Participation in decision-making and development of policies and strategies.
His Highness added that the youth of the Emirates are the wealth that we rely on in the future and the main engine to achieve the visions of the wise leadership in continuing the achievements to continue progress on all indicators. Strategic initiatives aimed at motivating young people and activating their role in creating frameworks to achieve their hopes and aspirations, by meeting their needs and contributing to enriching their knowledge and developing their scientific and practical experiences.
At the conclusion of his speech, His Highness said: The leadership of the UAE has great confidence that young people live up to their expectations in facing challenges and serving the country. His Highness called on young people to arm themselves with all the knowledge and skills that would advance their capabilities to continue the comprehensive development process that the country is witnessing.
