The diminished Spain

The phrase Spain empty or Spain emptied as a result of a celebrated book written by Sergio del Molino has recently become fashionable. The book has also generated a state of opinion that has enough of allegation or denunciation against the abandonment suffered by citizens who populate these territories by the state administration. Complaint or allegation that has been accepted immediately across the political spectrum with more than just a hint of demagogy. On the one hand, those who seem to place in that part of Spain the strongest features of our national being. On the other, those who exhibit it as a bleeding example of the structural inequalities and injustices that oppress us.
