The Public ministry on Monday insisted on requesting the Power of attorney that a preventive detention be issued for 20 investigated for being part of the alleged criminal organization ‘The dynamics of the center’.
Through its institutional Twitter account, the prosecution reported that the superior deputy prosecutor Dennis Paredes Cotera argued, in the hearing of the Transitory Criminal Appeals Chamber Specialized in Crimes of Corruption of Officials of Huancayo, that in the first instance it has not been “ adequately evaluated that it is a criminal network whose members have had behaviors prone to eluding justice ”.
“The Public Ministry today insisted on requesting preventive detention for the 20 investigated for the trafficking of brevets in the Junín region, arguing that the Judicial Power has not adequately evaluated that it is a criminal network whose members have had behaviors prone to evading justice”The publication reads.
“The superior deputy prosecutor Dennis Paredes Cotera maintained that the Judicial Power has omitted as relevant evidence that the director, the chief of staff and the evaluators of the DRTC (Regional Directorate of Transport and Communications Junín), as well as the owners of the centers doctors and driving schools were members of the organization”, Indicates the Public Ministry.
The prosecution reported that the appeal hearing on the request for preventive detention against alleged members of “Los dynamicos del centro” will continue on Tuesday, July 27 at 9:00 am by the court made up of superior judges Liliam Tambini Vivas, Walter Chipana Guillén and Julio César Lagones Espinoza.
The anti-corruption prosecutor Bonnie Bautista appealed the decision of Judge July Baldeón, who on Wednesday July 14 declared unfounded the request for preventive detention against 20 people – including officials and leaders of Peru Libre (PL) – who were arrested in the case of the alleged criminal organization ‘Los dynamicos del centro’.
