The electric ones charged more than 240,000 subscribers

The National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) details that the number of contracts affected by the irregular increase in prices on the electricity bill is at least 240,000, after analyzing around 90% of the market. This is because some electricity companies have not properly adapted the contracts to the new electricity tariff, in force since June. In 90,000 of the cases, the companies informed their customers of the price change, even though it went beyond the last regulatory change. In the remaining cases, about 150,000 there was no communication to customers to inform them of the price increase.
