The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management have announced the receipt of tourist visa applications for vaccinated tourists from all countries who have received full doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine approved by the World Health Organization as of August 30, 2021. This comes in line with the country’s strategy In creating a balance between public health and the various vital sectors, and in support of national efforts to achieve sustainable recovery and revitalize the economic sector.
This decision includes the countries from which entry was previously prohibited, with the mandatory rapid PCR examination at the airport, provided that the previous requirements remain in force on the unvaccinated groups, including the excluded non-vaccinated groups.
It is worth noting that it is possible to register vaccination certificates for travelers wishing to enjoy the advantages enjoyed by individuals who receive the vaccine in the country, through the platform of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the Al Hosn application. (wam)
