The celebrations of Platinum Jubilee they are being successful. Prince Charles took the stage accompanied by his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla. He began by addressing the absent Monarch as “Your Majesty, Mom”. He told how “has laughed and cried” together with the citizens of her country, always committed to serving them.
“You made a commitment to serve your whole life and you continue to do so. You have been with us through the most difficult times, and now you join us to celebrate the moments of greatest pride, joy and happiness”, mentioned the future King, tenderly referring to Isabel as “mommy”. He highlighted that four generations of her family came together to celebrate her and with great feeling he recognized that she is the Head of State but above all, her mother.
He could not help mentioning a member who was missing in the celebration: prince philip, her father and Isabel’s loving husband. Carlos mentioned that he was always the strength and support of the Queen, that he is greatly missed by her family and if he were still alive he would be delighted to join the celebration.
He finished with a mighty “You keep making history” followed by a standing ovation, applause and screams from the crowd from the Party at the Palace. Carlos asked those present that the applause be heard very loudly so that it reaches the Queen to the Palace.
