The European Commission (EC) will set this Tuesday the possibility of imposing millionaire fines of up to 10% of their income to large technology companies to prevent their dominant abuse in the market and force them to remove illegal content from their web pages, even if it prevents third parties.
Community sources assured EFE that this is the sanction provided for in the draft of the laws that Brussels will present on Tuesday – that of Digital Services and that of Digital Markets – that they seek update e-commerce regulations of the year 2000 and provide the EC with tools to combat the power of the internet giants.
