The European Commission announces a new European alliance in launchers to counter SpaceX.
In a proactive speech, Thierry Breton, European Commissioner for the Internal Market, in charge of space policy, called on Tuesday January 12 for an overhaul of “The way we make space in Europe”, during the 13e space conference organized by Business Bridge Europe.
It’s about accelerating, taking more risk and adopting governance “Modern, agile and efficient”, because the methods of the past are no longer suitable and threaten Europe with “Downgrading”.
