Saarbruecken/Gainesville Two bands from Saarland are taking part in the rock festival “The Fest” in Florida.
More than 300 bands will play at the three-day festival “The Fest” at the end of October – three of them are from Germany, two of them from Saarland, according to the Riegelsberg label Barhill Records. The Saarbrücken singer-songwriter Jenny Collet aka Coletti, whose mini-album “Searching for former solace” was released by Barhill, will perform at “The Fest” in Florida; as does the Saarbrücken punk rock quartet Small State, whose album “Low Expectations” was released on the Tholeyer label Midsummer Records.
The three-day festival in Gainesville takes place between October 28th and 30th on an open-air stage and in all the clubs in the city. This year, Hot Water Music, Anti-Flag, Samian, Bouncing Souls and many other bands will be there.
