The production of the mini-series that France 2 devotes to Brigitte Bardot began this week in Paris as revealed by Le Parisien. However, if almost the entire cast is known, we still do not know the identity of the actress to whom the role of the icon of French cinema returned.
Last Monday marked the starting signal for the filming of the mini-series that France 2 decided to devote to Brigitte Bardot.
Six episodes directed by Danièle and Christopher Thompson and which will be shot between the Paris region and Saint Tropez over a period of four months as specified by Le Parisien. The plot will return to the rise of the French icon, from her 15th birthday to her 25th birthday, which she celebrated in 1959.
On the casting side, we will find Géraldine Pailhas and Hippolyte Girardot in the roles of Brigitte Bardot’s parents, while Victor Belmondo plays the director Roger Vadim to whom we owe Et Dieu… Créa la Femme, the 1956 film which revealed to the world the actress and participated in transforming her into a quasi-divinity. The filmmaker was also her first husband. A film that was produced by Raoul Levy, who for his part will be played by Yvan Attal, while Jules Benchetrit will play actor Sami Frey and Anne Le Ny agent Olga Horstig.
But then, who will play Brigitte Bardot? Well mystery for now since France 2 has chosen to keep secret the identity of the actress to whom returned the leading role. Nevertheless, the production revealed that it was an actress still unknown to the general public. It remains to be seen whether his identity will be revealed by the broadcast of this series for which no date has yet been communicated.
