This Sunday, at 1:55 p.m., a serious accident occurred on the E40, near the Alleur exit. A car with 3 people on board ended up in a tree. The driver of this vehicle registered in Germany, aged 85, turned suddenly, according to a witness to the tragedy. He then hit a road sign before crashing into a tree, as explained by the Liège prosecutor’s office.

On board the car, there were therefore three people, all German nationals. The front passenger (81 years old) was killed instantly. Her husband, the 85-year-old driver, and her 50-year-old daughter, seated in the back, were seriously injured.
