“The Good Rate: How The Hoxton Hotels Encourage Sustainable Travel with Train Reductions”

The Hoxton brand has made its debut in Berlin, in the Charlottenburg district.

The Hoxton hotels encourage sustainable travel in their own way. Since the slightest environmental impact of rail transport is not to be demonstrated, the upscale brand of Ennismore, a subsidiary of Accor dedicated to the lifestyle hotel industry, is launching The Good Rate. Namely reductions of 20 euros, pounds or dollars offered to their customers who can demonstrate at the reception, helping ticket, to have taken the train to make their journey. An eco-responsible discount that can be added to other existing offers and promotions.

While the high-end and lifestyle brand is beginning to build a real network in major European cities – notably with openings in Berlin and Brussels over the past two weeks -, The Good Rate applies during two consecutive stays, booked directly on thehoxton.com. “Multi-Hox” stays which primarily concern itinerant tourists. However, these reductions can also affect business travelers accustomed to being one evening in London and the next day in Paris, or to dividing their time between Brussels and Amsterdam, or even Berlin. Despite the announced return of night trains, the Hoxtons of Barcelona and Rome are still more difficult to reach by train.

On the other hand, as far as the United States is concerned, The Good Rate applies to all travelers who have taken the train to get to one of four U.S. Hoxton hotels, those of Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland as well as that of New York, in the district of Williamsburg. While rail transport is again becoming a priority across the Atlantic, with huge investments planned in infrastructure, The Good Rate is in line with the times of soft mobility.
