The Government has lifted the suspension of activities related to works ofintervention in buildingsin which there is a risk of contagion byCovid-19for people, with effect from next Monday, May 25.
This is stated in an order published this Saturday in the Official State Gazette (BOE) by the Ministry of Health, which modifies the previous rule of state of alarm, in order to improve health management caused by the pandemic ofcoronavirusin application of the plande-escalated.
Specifically, the fifth additional provision of the order eliminates the suspension ofintervention activities in buildings where there is a risk of contagion for the rest of the people, decreed at the beginning of the state of alarm to mitigate the risk of spreading the disease among the population.
However, in carrying out these works, the order states that they must be guaranteed “in any case”adequate hygiene measures and the minimum safety distance between peopletwo meters.
This order was already modified on May 2, but, taking into account the application of the plan for the transition to a new normality, the Government, at the request of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda, has deemed it necessary to adopt measures that allow to gradually recover the actions in existing buildings for the territories in phase 1 and later.
