Although Wall Street ended Friday with declines of more than one percentage point after a poor monthly employment report, the tone on the stock markets looks better this morning. And it doesn’t punish them that finally the extraordinary meeting that OPEC and allied countries such as Russia were to hold today has been delayed until Thursday. Last week, US President Donald Trump raised the expectation of a close agreement between Russia and Saudi Arabia in the form of a production cut that puts a dam to the sharp falls in the price of a barrel. After the intense recovery of crude oil the days before the heat of these speculations, this morning it registered a slight decrease: the barrel of Brent, a benchmark in Europe, lost 0.70%, to $ 33.70; and that of West Texas, a benchmark in the US, is down 1.7%, up to $ 26.89. For now, the postponement of the meeting between the oil cartel and its partners is not too scary.
Speaking of values, in the selective Spanish only Amadeus is negative: it falls 2.18%. And only another company, MásMóvil, dodges promotions, since it is in tables.
