Tehran – For the first time in the world, experts from the Iranian Ministry of Defense have developed the technology for manufacturing face masks with an ionized filter piece in Iran.
As reported, the technology is proprietary and there are no foreign competitors for the product.

According to Hatami, the masks produced offer better protection against viruses thanks to their modern technology and can be used over a longer period of up to 50 hours.
The minister added that the masks are available at comparatively low prices and the ministry currently has a capacity of 100,000 pieces per day, which will increase to 500.00 in a month.
On Thursday, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced that 1,634 COVID-19 cases had been discovered nationwide in the past 24 hours. According to the ministry spokesman, Kianoush Jahanpour, the total number of confirmed infections has reached 66,220.
