On Wednesday, around 5 p.m., a cyclist fell into the water near the Jambes bridge. “When we were notified, our divers tried to find him,” said the firefighters in the NAGE area.
After probing the river for two hours without success, the divers abandoned the search. “On the other hand, the civil protection found the body, which was floating on the water, this Friday afternoon”, adds one in the Namur firefighters.
According to initial information, it would be the body of the cyclist who fell into the water on Wednesday.
